Carla’s story…

I started in weddings by second shooting for a family friend. Several friends asked me to photograph their weddings and this is when I was my creative best.

I love listening to speeches at weddings and can often be seen laughing and crying along with family members. The emotions they can evoke in everyone in attendance is just amazing as they are so heartfelt and honest. I have always been fascinated by people and how they interact and what better place for people watching than a wedding?!

I love the enthusiasm and the belief of couples that no matter what life throws at them they will still have each other. What’s not to love? As a bride and groom you are showing how much you love and care for each other. For your friends and family it is a chance for them to see you make your commitment to each other and show YOU how much they love you and will be there to support you in your new life as husband and wife.

I have been photographing weddings since 2003 and with a background in event planning,
I am always open to discussing your ideas and plans for your day. I love getting to know my couples, hearing their stories, watching them relax as the day they have planned unfolds.

Before your wedding, I will spend time getting to know your personalities and your preferences, so that they are reflected in your wedding pictures. I will tell the story of your
day and of you as a couple. My style of photography is fun, relaxed and timeless. I like to take pictures that reflect the whole day, the emotions, the details as well as those moments that go unseen.

I want you to have an amazing experience from the moment you meet me until long after you have received your wedding album. For you to be pleased choosing me as much as I am thrilled to be your photographer.

I’m based in London but will travel anywhere to take a photograph so drop me a line and tell me about your big day.
