Awwww I’m so excited to share Let It Snow: An Animated Love Shoot by Rebecca Douglas Photography. Louise and Greg make such a lovely couple and the fluffy snow was the perfect backdrop for their engagement shoot. The only other things they required were a few extra layers, a cute pair of ear muffs, a sledge and of course… a whooole lotta love.

Thanet is a small place so we had seen each other a few times before we met properly. We went to the same gym and Greg would give me a cheeky smile as he passed by.
I had always admired him from afar but didn’t have the courage to do much about it. We met properly at a friend’s party 4 and a half years ago. We spent the whole night dancing together like idiots, much to our friend’s amusement!
We went on a few dates after that but it turned out that Greg had only recently come out of a 7 year relationship so he wasn’t sure if he was ready to settle down again. We took things slowly but soon became inseparable. It became clear to us that when something feels right you should just go with it.
Greg is a secondary school teacher and I am a Chartered Accountant. We bought our first home together a year ago and couldn’t be happier. We have had a lot of fun making the perfect home for us both. Greg and I are planners so we had been talking about getting married since summer 2012.
However, he surprised me with a wonderful trip to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park just after Christmas and en-route we made a de-tour to Bond Street where he proposed outside Tiffany and Co‘s and invited me to choose a ring.
It was an amazing day, we went onto Winter Wonderland where we celebrated with friends, had a lovely meal in Leicester Square and then Greg had booked a hotel in the city.
We are planning the wedding for August 2014. It seems like a lifetime away although we have been told it will fly by!
We want a traditional church wedding, but with a string quartet instead of an organ. We are then going to have the reception at the Pegwell Bay hotel in Ramsgate. We love the venue, it is about a 5 minute walk from our house and we often go for Sunday lunches so it feels homely and familiar to us. We are hoping to have a firework finale (weather permitting!). We would love a honeymoon in Aruba so fingers crossed the saving goes well.
Louise : I knew it was love when I started spending far too much of the working day, daydreaming about Greg.
Greg: Louise is my world. I can’t wait for this next chapter of our lives to start.
Heeey you guuuuuys *that came out in a Sloth from The Goonies voice* aren’t Louise and Greg a ridiculously cute couple? I love how Rebbecca of Rebbecca Douglas Photography captured these images and turned a few of them into running / animated shots. How fab!
And does their love story not have you welling up? I can’t wait to see their wedding! Oh and one more shot… check this pretty, pretty out :) XxX
Loving the animated shots… looked like fun! :)
