Rudby Hall, a privately owned Country House in the heart of North Yorkshire. The Hall is opening its doors for the first time as an exclusive retreat for luxury weddings and intimate functions, a slice of country living for us all to enjoy. A talented team was put together to create some stunning images to promote the grandeur of this new venture.
After visiting the hall a concept in two parts was created to maximise the sumptuousness of the stately rooms that could be yours to use as you so wished.
Day shoot – ‘A Country House Affair’ – stunning room where weddings will take place has an ethereal light that influenced the scheme, pale and pared back. We wanted to create a feel of days gone by, a soft beauty to enhance the surroundings. Subtle hints of colour were used through foliage and peachy tones to the floral displays also the boldness of a navy suit and delicacy of lace made the overall look come together.
Well ladies, I think you totally achieved what you set out to. Rudby Hall is a beautiful place for the setting of a perfect wedding! I absolutely cannot wait to share your evening shoot ‘A Squires Evening’ with everyone.
I love the idea of having two concepts for your wedding day… from day to night. I really wish it’s something I’d done for my own wedding. My wedding day had a soft and elegant 1930s inspired theme and I badly wanted to ramp it up for the evening to full on 1930s glamour. Think striking red lips and a gorgeous ostrich feather cape… Oh it would have looked sensational! But the budget *sigh* couldn’t stretch…
So what do you think of todays wedding inspiration girls, dreamy huh? Are you planning a day of two halves? If so please, please do share I would love to hear all about it :)
