I’m very excited to share today’s Real Wedding with you! The lovely couple decided they must get married in France without ever having been there! Talk about being brave… but it seems the decision paid of for Allison & Austin as they had the most romantic and picturesque French wedding alongside The Notre Dame, under the pretty cherry blossom trees…

Neither of us had ever been to Paris or even Europe, but we had this crazy idea to go for it and we are so glad we did. We truly had a fairy tale wedding. We stopped thinking about what other people wanted and we had the best we could’ve imagined.
My wedding dress was Reddoll by Tatyana Merenyur. I loved that it was simple with a little twist of something different, which is my style. I knew it was the one without even trying it on.
My father walked me down the aisle towards the cherry blossom trees, there was no music just waves of ohhs and ahhs, I think that’s better.
Brant Smith Photography was just simply awesome. He must see the world differently than us because he gets amazing shots so fast that there is no other explanation.
We really didn’t realize how great the shots would be.
One day we spent 10 minutes at the Eiffel tower because we thought the metro closed in 30 minutes and we still had to get back to our hotels. I was worried that it was a little rushed and we wouldn’t get the pictures we wanted and they were still great pictures!
Brant will lay on the concrete and scale a 4 could have beautiful of our once in a lifetime wedding in Paris.
It was cold and rainy when we got to the sacre Coeur, our last stop before dinner, so I was wearing his jacket and nobody realized I was wearing my wedding dress. When I took his jacket off though it was the most surreal moment we have experienced. All I heard were ohhs and awes and everyone moved out of the way so we could take our pictures.
We took a tour with Cedric. He was really fun and took us to the beautiful places that aren’t in the travel guides. We were so late in meeting him that I was afraid he had already left but thankfully he waited for us. His 2CV was so cute that it was exactly what we wanted for our wedding day and in our pictures.
If you could impart any words of wisdom Allison for future brides?
Stop thinking about what is expected of you and what other people want. This is your one magical day and you need to do whatever will make you happy at the end of it.
Such great advice and a wonderful, wonderful wedding. The stuff dreams are made of…
Thank you so much to Allison and Austin for featuring on WTW and also a huge thanks to their AMAZING wedding photographer (what a find guys) for allowing us to feature your beautiful work. Ladies? You know what to do :) please leave them some love :))

Wow, this is truly inspirational!
I love it so much :)) XxX
Beautiful wedding sash!
We had a wonderful time in Paris. Allison was so stressed about her wedding and I told her to do whatever SHE wanted, not what was expected of her. She was so worried about everyone else and not what she thought we wanted. Paris is a life long love of hers so this was perfect!! Brant Smith is a FABULOUS photographer and we love him. He does all our family pictures and we couldn’t think of a wedding anywhere without him! Plus his wife Cassi is a FABULOUS hair dresser and she came with us too! Much love to Allison and Austin!!
Thanks so much Heather, your daughter and son-in-law had a BEAUTIFUL wedding and I’m so pleased I could share there special day and that they did it their way :) XxX
Wow, it only goes to show that when you go for something whole heartedly (like a wedding in France when you’ve never been there!) there’s always the will power to pull it off. A beautiful day. Congrats!
Attended a wedding in Paris a few years ago it was lovely! This is such a great place to marry the love of your life. Just have to pray for a nice weather..
This is beautiful how the photographer captured the moments of this intimate Paris wedding. Such a fresh look on the city and such an amazing love story on the pictures.
