Good afternoon ladies! I do hope your working week is going rather well and you’re managing to sneaky sneak some wedding planning in somewhere! Today I have a quirky, alternative pink, black & white inspired bridal shoot to share with you. What I particularly love love love about this shoot is that even though it’s alternative it still has a pretty, girlie vibe.
The models corset top is a little bit sexy and the pink tulled skirt is slightly anti-bride whilst also being princessy. Cute! The fact that our couple are a bonafide real couple makes this shoot all the more gorge.
Huge pat on the back to the team and an extra big pat for talented wedding photographer Jennifer Marino. Stunning work lady :))

I came up with this ‘alternative wedding shoot’ idea with my lovely model Lexi. I always wanted to do something quite different so I thought why not!
For the colour scheme I wanted pinks, whites blacks, anything that was a bit in your face but still nice on the eye ;) I did want Lexi to look a bit like a princess but still quite alternative! :) as for Iain’s look, well to be honest he just had to dress like himself and he fit the bill!
As for the styling, my lovely mum made the bottom half of Lexi’s dress and I bought the corset from eBay! It’s amazing how they both fit together really well. It goes to show you don’t have to spend loads to make something awesome! :)
I knew I couldn’t have a normal flower bouquet, I had to have something different yet beautiful and these button bouquets are absolutely stunning! Thanks to Devon Masters from The Button Room. I gave her just a few simple words to go by, like ‘pink, alternative, elegant’.
