It’s Friday and it’s raining in the UK but who cares?? Not me… after what has been an arduous week I am rather excited that the weekend is a comin’, and to celebrate I’m running a competition to WIN your handmade wedding props!
Big Little Things is a lovely personalised gift company specialising in those little handmade, vintage details that bring your wedding day to life, and to mark the re-launch of their marvellous website they’re offering one lucky WTW reader £50 worth of wedding goodies!
As they specialise in affordable wedding props, you’ll be surprised at how much bang you’ll get for your buck. So take a little look and check out the end of the post for details on how you can enter.
Our philosophy is simple; to bring original, handmade products to those who are seeking them.
Our products can help a bride achieve the handmade or vintage look without breaking the bank or sacrificing personal time making the items.
Our beautiful selection of paper pom poms serve as a striking feature to any wedding venue.
Big Little Things duo Fran and Sarah handcraft or handpick all the items you’ll find on the site and are clearly passionate about the finishing touches to your wedding! They know that the little things are a BIG deal.
To enter this fab competition simply tell me which post has been your favourite over the last few weeks and why. If you’re feeling extra extra nice you could also like Big Little Things on Facebook here and Want That Wedding here. Good luck :)

My favourite post has been Pretty Tablescapes https://wantthatwedding.co.uk/2013/08/25/pretty-tablescapes-top-wedding-table-styling-ideas/ as we are having a marquee wedding at my parents so decor is completely up to us (and neither of us are particularly arty!) – we have white table cloths and white napkins so looking for ways to jazz the tables up so they don’t look boring. This post was super helpful. Wish I could spray paint the cloths but not sure the marquee company will let me!
Thanks for your entry Nicola :) and I’m really happy you found lots of ideas from the pretty tablescapes post! Maybe you could purchase your own white table cloth and just do the head table like that? XxX
That’s a fab idea! My lack of art skills might hamper me but I’ve got 8 months to practice!
Yay! :)) XxX
I’ve found the post on “opulent & romantic rococo styled wedding inspiration” (https://wantthatwedding.co.uk/2013/08/27/opulent-romantic-rococo-styled-wedding-inspiration/) very useful.
We were hoping to have something a bit different for our centre pieces and I hadn’t thought of using fruit and nuts. Made me think that it could double up as the wedding favours. I’m still uncertain what kind of bouquet to have (I’m not overly keen on flowers) so the ivy ball was quite interesting….I was thinking I could adapt this for the backs of the seats too instead of having seat covers.
Just a thought….thanks for all the ideas :)
Hi Lauren! So glad you’re feeling inspired! XxX
I loved your article ‘Beautiful Botanical’ about ferns you posted on the 8th of September. I found it really inspiring :) Our budget is quite limited and I am looking for cheap (but beautiful) table decoration. I would have never thought about ferns! Thank you for the idea :)
That’s so lovely to hear thanks Alexandra! XxX Will keep you posted with more ideas :)) XxX Sonia
I love the aqua, pink, yellow & orange wedding. I’ve been wanting to use a variety of colours on my day and this has shown me how they can compliment each other and add a bit of fun & brightness to the proceedings. Thanks for the inspiration!
That’s so lovely to hear thanks Elizabeth! XxX you should definitely check out all the other colour combos in my inspiration boards :)) XxX Sonia
