Happy Friday lovelies! Are you in weekend mode already? I always seem to start heading that way at around 2pm on a Friday. My body might look like it’s still physically in the office, but my mind, well that’s definitely left already for the weekend…
So if you’re shuffling things around your desk trying to look busy and pretending to work, but you’re actually having a sneaky little peek at my blog. I say hurrah for being naughty!
Now here is your reward —> do you want to see an eclectic range of bridal headpieces that are a little different but still strikingly, strikingly pretty? You do? Yay! Here is the very first look at the… Klaire Van Elton Bridal Adornment’s 2014 Collection.
The lady behind the amazingly successful, alternative bouquet company Paper Me Happy has turned her dexterous little hands to the art of making bridal adornments. With a super keen eye for detail and a love of exquisite materials, Klaire’s 2014 collection will bedazzle. And if you know and love Klaire for her origami style wedding bouquets you are going to be super in love with her origami inspired headpieces!
The Klaire Van Elton line is an eclectic and fashion-forward suite of bridal adornments, perfect for brides who love all things vintage but with a contemporary edge. Every design in the collection is individually handmade with a commitment of time and appreciation of beautiful laces, crystals and findings.
The 2014 collection boasts ethereal headpieces, veils, vines, combs and cuffs. Klaire has a first class design degree and has spent the last decade designing exquisite accessories, embellishments and garments for a variety of boutiques and retailers throughout Europe and South America.
Whilst creating the Klaire Van Elton collection, it wasn’t enough that the embellishments, just be pretty and twinkly, I wanted to create pieces that would be light and easy to wear for a long period of time.
Versatility too was a key influence, the majority of our headpieces can be worn in lots of different ways giving brides the choice to be able to change their look for the evening reception perhaps – ala Princess Kate!
I feel honored when a bride chooses our embellishments to adorn their wedding day tresses. If brides have their own ideas or would like to commission a piece that better matches what they have already chosen for their bridal ensemble.
We also offer a bespoke service – we really love working together with clients to create new designs and have delighted many brides with our bespoke creations.
I’m so excited to be able to share this first look with you all as it’s such a gorgeous headware collection and rather excitingly next week I will be sharing the full collection. So much pretty. I can’t wait!
So happy, happy weekend my dears, whatever you get up to have fun and see you Sunday!
p.s if you wanna see the behind the scenes, here’s the video, enjoy! XxX
