It’s time to catch up with our lovely couple Brett & Amelia who are currently doing a wedding world tour! They tied the knot in the UK followed by a romantic elopement in front of the Eiffel Tower…

We were very excited for our wedding in Paris, and you would think as we had done it before we wouldn’t be nervous, yet we both felt a bit apprehensive.
I was worried about walking the streets of Paris in my wedding gown and of all the stares, but few Parisians even blinked an eye as if they saw a bride walking the streets everyday.
The tourists just stopped and took photos of us, it was actually lovely, one group of onlookers on the wall cheered and clapped as we walked past.
By the end of the ceremony we had amassed quite a crowd!! Sadly we missed the boat for our lunch and champagne cruise up the seine due to a mix up of where the boat departed from.
So we dined on a static boat on the river seine overlooking the louvre and musee d’orsay. We rounded the afternoon off with a tequila slammer and headed for the airport!!
I chose a silk and lace Ian Stuart gown for it’s romantic, soft dusty pink feel and delicate lace train, with flowers. My wedding bouquet was made up of pale pink roses, blue and white irises and pink alstroemerias.
My most memorable event was exchanging the rings with Brett and being able to relax and enjoy the moment without the stresses of anything hanging over us.☺ It was lovely looking into his eyes and seeing the raw emotion that he so rarely shows.
Oh wow how lovely! I’m loving following Amelia’s and Brett’s world wedding tour! Get ready for their Moscow wedding… coming real soon!
