Irish bride Ash looks absolutely sensational in today’s real wedding. Wearing a vintage glamour, 1920s esq Kathy de Stafford wedding dress to say her special vows to husband to be Tristan on the Australian Gold Coast, you’ll love her timeless style.
I adore the subtle blush, gold and green tones, the smattering of vintage sparkle and this ultra glam brides vintage style, oh and those gorgeous Jimmy Choos…

Gold Coast Wedding For An Irish Vintage Glamour Bride: Tristan & Ash
I found a dress here in Australia and found a Bridal shop in Ireland that sold it so I could show my mam. When I arrived at Kathy De Staffords Bridal salon in Exchequer Street, Dublin I had my sights set on the Pronovias dress I picked in Australia.
But after taking one look at her own designs, I decided to try some on and I was absolutely blown away by the beauty and originality of her designs. So needless to say, I ended up buying one of Katy De Staffords dresses and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.
There was only ever one choice for our Ceremony location, TSS. Tristan went to school there and always wanted to be married in the Chapel – it is really beautiful and it has huge meaning for him.
As for The Hotel that was another easy decision. We have always had a special place in our hearts for The Versace, it’s somewhere we have always gone to celebrate. It also helps that the hotel is magnificent.
Tristan took me to The Castle on Mount Tamborine to propose, it’s a beautiful private hotel. We went for dinner and when we got back there were rose petals throughout the entire suite and lit candles all over the floor and tables.
In the middle of the table was a bottle of Dom Perignon and when I turned around he was on bent knee. It was one of the best days of my life.
I was working in an Irish Bar, Fiddlers Green Irish Bar in Surfers Paradise when we met and I was his barmaid.
He came in to celebrate after his friend hit a hole-in-one. Before I knew his name, I knew I would marry him.
Our wedding was the most amazing day of our lives, from the moment we got up until the second our heads hit the pillow we smiled and laughed.
We were so lucky to have so many incredible people around us to celebrate our day with. We felt incredibly loved.
One of the most memorable moments was walking into our reception room and seeing everyone we love so happy.
There were so many funny moments, from Will one of our groomsmen trying to “help” our photographer get some interesting shots to Stuart my brother and MC creating havoc and giving us huge belly laughs.
What advice would you give to other couples planning their wedding?
It sounds funny even writing this but my only advice would be, Don’t drink too much because you will want to remember every moment.
It’s an incredible feeling and I have to say I’ve never enjoyed myself more.
Doesn’t this bride have great taste? So in love with her vintage glam dress!
Congrats Ash & Tristan and thanks so much to Ben Clark Photography for submitting these wonderful images.

That dress is out of this world!
I really like the ever so slight desaturation in these images, i think its nice to see something different for a wedding and it gives it more of a memory kind of feel. I feel more like I am looking at someones memories of the day.
