I’m seriously in love with today’s real wedding and it is definitely one of my faves this year. For reals.
The first reason being, gorgeous bride Natasha chose her favourite colour yellow to influence her wedding colour scheme and injected bold pops of neon yellow, acid yellow and chartreuse into her big day – the result? Errr. Wow! It looks super fresh and absolutely blinking lovely and gorgeous!
Team that with a beautiful bouquet, a stunning lace sleeved Catherine Deane wedding gown and a proper loved up couple and what do you get? This…
A Chic & Pretty Wedding With Neon Yellow & Chartreuse Accents: Natasha & Andrew

I wore the Lia Dress by Catherine Deane. It was my 9th or so bridal appt, I had been to places in The Cotswolds, Chichester, Brighton and all over London then finally the last visit was Catherine Deane – I had a good feeling about this one and didn’t go anywhere else after!
I went to their studio in Wapping, and they were so helpful – I was able to try pretty much every dress on. It isn’t like a bridal boutique where they have loads of shoes and veils etc, it was all about the dresses they design.
Finding the right dress was much more difficult that I had ever anticipated. I had always had in my head I wanted lace long sleeves but was finding it difficult to find a suitable dress for summer as all were so heavy or hot. This final dress had the lace long sleeves I wanted and was so light – which I loved.
It happened to be a heatwave on the day so in the end, I don’t think any dress would have made me feel cool!
Colour is a big thing and early on the initial colour palette was important to me, I adore yellow. Pops of neon yellow, fluorescent yellow, chartreuse and acid shades of yellow were incorporated.
I spotted my Christian Dior wedding shoes when I wasn’t looking for shoes, and knew I had to have them. They are python with acid toe and pale cornflower / lilac straps.
My accessories were a necklace & earrings, by: Dominic Walmsley. Oli the best man, gave them to me from Andrew in the morning whilst I was getting ready. It was a massive surprise and wasn’t expecting it.
As soon as I opened the boxes I knew Andrew had designed them as they are so like his drawings and sketches.
I also wore a bracelet – Mars neon yellow by Cruciani and a simple double edged veil.
The junior bridesmaid wore dresses from J Crew and Monsoon. I customised the monsoon dress with matte neon sequins and all my maids also wore the neon yellow bracelet and I gave them and laser cut initial necklaces to wear too.
My Dad walked me down the aisle to The Prince of Denmark’s March. We had an organist Sarah, and trumpeter Iona.
Andrew proposed when we were on holiday in Antigua, he had made a neon yellow laser cut acrylic ring, it was perfect.
The laser cut technique became a big part of the wedding as we designed and made our Save the Dates and also the invitations by laser cutting.
Andrew also made the junior bridesmaids acrylic necklaces and they really wanted a ring like mine! Our save the dates were inspired by the ring Andrew made.
I crocheted 10 doilies for each table in the colour palette, the neon yellows, chartreuse, pale blues and whites. I also made crochet bunting that I hung outside.
My Mom had ‘Mr & Mrs Wood bunting made by a friend, and my Aunt Patsy knitted a bride and groom which hung on our chairs.
Our wedding favours were handmade neon yellow candles, Andrew and I made all 100 of them! We had a serious candle making operation happening in our kitchen one weekend! We had it down to an art.
Andrew is the candle making Pro, I was more of the assistant!
Carol from the exclusive Cake Shop & Vintage Tea Room made our wedding cake. We chose Carole as she was very local to the Walled Garden and it was nice to visit her Tea Rooms and have a chat.
We wanted something very simple and natural, decorated with real flowers and a ‘naked’ cake.
Our wedding photographer was Fiona Kelly and she also made an amazing video for us, which was a total surprise!
Love it so much! It was so nice to be able to relive the day again.
If you could impart any words of wisdom to future brides planning their wedding days, what would they be?
Enjoy it and make it your own, and do not let other people inflict your opinions and ideas! We were both very involved in all aspects of our day and loved doing it! Actually felt quite strange once it was all over!
What was your most memorable moment of the day?
Arriving at the walled garden, after not seeing it in months it was more beautiful than I had imagined!!! The garden really was incredible to see and to have all of our closest family and friends with us.
Massive congrats to Andrew & Natasha. I heart your gorgeous wedding.
The question is though my lovelies, do you love this beautiful wedding as much as I do too?
Go on, leave them some love.
