A Wistful, Wild, White, Winter Bridal Editorial!

Happy Friday lovelies! Today’s styled wedding shoot is a wistful bridal editorial captured one early blustery morning beside the sea.

With a monochromatic colour palette of winter whites, sea grey and black, this colour scheme makes an interesting contrast to the natural elements of the wintry scenic beachy surroundings and organic inspired florals.

While designing this styled shoot dedicated to the winter seaside, we defined three different objectives.

The first one, of course, was to respect the topic of our second issue: White. The second one was to realize images experimenting an unusual working method. The third one was to give the right meaning to the words “network” and “sharing”, definitely too much abused in these days.

As regards the first object, we have interpreted the white, not as a colour but trying to catch the crystal and wintery light of a morning by the seaside.

The second object deserves a more accurate explanation. For a long time I wanted to make some shoots together with other photographers and this styled shoot seemed to the editorial staff to be the perfect opportunity to realize this project.

A styled shoot with two different works, two different points of view, different techniques, two interpretations of the atmosphere and of the story we wanted to tell. Greatest freedom of expression and one rule: collaboration.

We submitted our proposal to Aberrazioni Cromatiche photo studio, which hailed our invitation helping us to reach the second object of this work which is, let us tell you, out of the common.

Even the third and last object was achieved. We wanted to demonstrate that there is nothing risky in collaborating and sharing, to the contrary this could only enhance the professionalism of each of us.

The unavoidable technical difficulties related to the equipment, to the working methods we are used to, have been quickly overcome and the realization on the field was simply perfect.

The pictures that we took got along and integrate each other and tell not only the story of two lovers, but also another passion that moves us with the same force: photography.
