Totally Romantic & Stunning Mantilla Veil Bride & Pretty Barn Wedding: Michelle & Adam

Today’s pretty barn wedding features a real bride wearing a stunning, cathedral length, mantilla veil that I am just utterly obsessed with. I mean like really. It is so so pretty.

We chose Bassmead Manor Barns, Staploe, St Neots, Cambridgeshire as our wedding venue as it was light and airy and didn’t need much decoration either. A lovely mix of old and new and all set in beautiful corn fields.

I chose my Pronovias wedding dress as it felt right as soon as I put it on – I didn’t want to take it off and it felt so much more authentic than other brands and dresses I’d seen. The lady that runs the dress shop really knows her stuff and knew what would suit me straight away.

I also wore a beautiful cathedral length veil, it was so romantic!

Adam wore a Topshop shirt and suit with floral tie and pocket square.

My Dad walked me down the aisle to Chasing cars by Snow Patrol.

We met when we were both 16 and became instant friends. Adam proposed to me on valentines Day, 2013, in Rome.

Jade Sayers was my brilliant wedding photographer- I’m so pleased with She my photo’s. Made me and Adam feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Some photos have quite an ethereal quality which I love. Everything looks and feels very natural and un-posed in the photos. Plus the album she put together for us is amazing.

We used a pale and pink colour scheme with ivory chair covers and organza ribbons to tie them. pale pink and rose flowers adorned the tables and we also used some beautiful bay trees.
