Today’s styled inspiration is perfect for all you modern, romantic brides that love beautiful details and are not afraid to stand out.
The uber romantic florals and thoroughly feminine colour palette contrast flawlessly against the modern styling decor and quirky lace bridal boots!
Styling by Linen & Silk. Photography by Carey Sheffield.
Planned and styled by wedding planner and stylist Elisabetta White (Linen and Silk Weddings) and captured by wedding photographer Carey Sheffield Photography, this romantic shoot was initiated by Nicole Stachowiak, owner of House of Elliot, handmade lace bridal boots whose aim it is to provide unique, feminine and luxurious footwear to modern-romantic brides.
The style in this romantic and slightly bohemian wedding inspiration is for brides that appreciate exquisite materials, heritage and intricate details and seek to inject their bridal style with a unique, personal touch.
Hair stylist and lace wigs they use to make up artist Malin Coleman worked her magic on our model Charlotte Godfrey to give these romantic looks a contemporary feel, perfect for the modern bride.
We worked with lace textures, metallic yellow and rose gold, burgundy and warm tones café au lait, which wedding florist Joanne Truby Floral Design translated in unstructured bridal bouquets, floral crowns and a bohemian hoop backdrop with cascading vintage lace ribbons.
For the bride that wants something different and a bit daring, we gave this concept a very contemporary twist by applying the same principles (lace, romanticism, exquisite details) to something completely unique and individual, such as black bridal attire.
The three looks were complemented by stunning Emma Hunt London dresses and delicate jewellery by Victoria Fergusson and Olivier Laudus, and exquisite couture lingerie by Pompadour.
Cake designer Ramla of The Enchanting Cake Company interpreted the spirit of the shoot by creating a simple 2-tier rough iced with buttercream cake, which we decorated with an overflow of flowers and foliage, gold and glass domes and candles. Carrying this interpretation of the theme to our sweetheart table, Joanna filled it with different heights’ floral arrangements and candles on original vintage brass stands. With its rose gold-foiled details and lace patterns, the Eagle Eyed Bride stationery suite oozed romantic intricacy, while remaining contemporary and on trend.
Thanks so much to all the wonderful wedding vendors below for sharing this lovely shoot with the Want That Wedding blog!
