Non Traditional ‘Dinner Party’ Style Wedding: Werner & Leandri

Ever wondered what a non-traditional ‘dinner party’ style wedding might look like?

Today’s beautiful wedding captured by Ginger Ale Photography had none of the usual traditional wedding paraphernalia that springs to mind – like first dances, fancy cakes or white wedding dresses, but it did have one totally stylish couple and a whole heap of love.

We merely wanted a relaxed evening with the special people in our lives, so we tried to have more of a “dinner party” that was intimate and “cosy”.

My dress was from Bride&Co and chosen for its unique colour and detail, and that it is far from being traditional.

We met in December 2010 in a retail center. We were inseparable from the start and in December 2014 Werner proposed on Christmas Eve in old town square, Prague.

A year later we celebrated our immeasurable love for each other with this intimate ceremony that we will cherish for years to come.

We didn’t walk down the aisle, we had our ceremony inside The Pudding Shop.

Our wedding photographers were Ginger Ale Photography – their work has a “journalistic style” and they managed to truly capture the “real” moments and emotions.

They are super talented!!!

We didn’t have any decor as we didn’t feel it was needed – our flowers were supplied by The Pudding Shop.  We only asked for something fresh, but not white ;)

One of my most memorable moments was my husband’s speech. It had almost everyone in tears.

If we could offer any advice to other couples we would say… only invite the people you care for most. It is your day after all.

So that’s how to do a totally ‘non traditional’ wedding. Werner & Leandri – congratulations! We love your dinner party styled wedding.
