I adore today’s real wedding! Annabelle & Richard a couple so clearly in love, it’s definitely given me all the feels…
Annabelle looks amazing in her custom tweaked Pronovias wedding gown, totally timeless and elegant.
What I particularly love about their wedding (is everything) but the venue and styling are right up my street. Inspired by Italian weddings lots of greenery was used as well as modern detailing of geodes, gold leaf and geometrics.

I fell in love with Pronovias wedding dresses when I found them on Pinterest, so knew I wanted to try the designer on. We found the nearest stockist that sold both the couture and normal selection.
I fell in love with pretty much all of them after trying them on, but the one I chose just fit perfectly. I seemed to fit the dress, and be the perfect height.
I loved the detail of the dress, the delicate lace, the long trail, the way it fitted, but there was one slight issue, which was the neckline, I wanted something a bit more Berta Bridal, so they simply altered it for me and added some more lace to the shoulders to make it suit, and I fell in love with it ten times over – especially when adding the veil.

Felix, one of Richard’s best friends and Usher who we both love to pieces, is a very relaxed individual, so relaxed, that he would have shown up to the wedding in a burgundy suit in the same style as the groom and groomsmen – he got the suit wrong!
We would have laughed, but luckily Richard knows him very well and just rang to check it was right a week before the wedding.

The wedding planning started with a lot of pinning on Pinterest and I really fancied an Italian wedding.
At one point we were thinking somewhere like Lake Como, but in the end, we really wanted all our family and friends there so decided to marry in England.

My Dad and I walked down the Aisle to Ludovico Einaudi – Nuvole Bianche. When Richard and I first met, we sat up all night chatting and playing on my mums piano, I played him Le Onde, from my favourite pianist Ludovico Einaudi.
Richard fell in love with the song, and I spent months teaching him how to play it – so it was very personal to us. We were going to choose Le Onde but we felt it was too slow to walk down the aisle to and we both fell in love with this song.

Richard and I had been going out for 9 months when he proposed. We were on a cruise around the Caribbean, it was new year’s eve, and at midnight, he took me to the back of the boat and did the whole romance thing going down on one knee.
He had always said since day two of us going out he was going to marry me, but still I did not see it coming. I remember feeling very overwhelmed in that moment, I couldn’t believe my eyes that he had actually bought a ring, but knew instantly that I absolutely loved this man and wanted nothing more than to be married to my best friend.
A life of piano playing, late night chatting, cheese eating and wine drinking, partying and travelling with someone who made me laugh every day and made every day so unpredictably different sounded like a pretty fantastic life to me.

The most memorable moment of the day for me was seeing Richard at the other end of that aisle, I had no nerves, nothing, I was just so excited to marry him I was thinking in my head, slow down, you can’t run up the aisle to him – that’s not very bridal!
I could see him filling up and just fell in love with him again that little bit more. I think in that moment when you know you are about to marry your best friend and you are told you get to spend the rest of your life with this person, it is just the best feeling ever.
Ahh, the best day ever.

We loved her fine art style, with natural light and she fit into the wedding and made everyone feel very at ease.
Everyone was amazed by the pictures and there was lots of laughter and crying as we went through them! I loved being able to see things I didn’t get to see on the day and relive our wedding over and over again.

I wanted to bring a slight feel of Italy to the wedding venue, by using limoncello favours, and lemons, with lots and lots of greenery to decorate the venue, plus having things like a gelato stand.
The colour grey was included for the pure reason I absolutely love the colour, and we thought it really complimented the other colours we were going for.
Plus we knew it would suit all of my dark hair and olive skinned bridesmaids, so it was win-win.

For the table plan, we made it quite artsy and wanted to create something a bit different. For table numbers, we used agate geode and created the numbers using gold leaf.
I also love geometric gold style frames, so we used a lot of that, and gold leaf!
Wedding favours were mini limoncello bottles. I then added labels which I purchased from Etsy shop – Dream Brides.

Flowers and three different cakes were definitely a main focal point for the wedding decorations.

If we could impart any words of wisdom for future brides and grooms we would say…
Enjoy every moment of wedding planning, but enjoy your life for the now too. Getting married is such an exciting time in your life and it will probably take over 90 percent of your brain, but I feel it is important to make sure you don’t miss the excitement on the other things in life too like birthdays, friends, family, holidays etc!
Also, don’t go for the first vendor you see, really research and find the perfect ones so you get the vendor of your dreams. I went through about 100 photographers before I came across Hannah and as soon as we came across her, we wanted to book her straight away, and we couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos.

We are loving this timeless wedding, gorgeous colour palette, modern geode detail and Italian style – and what a SWEET COUPLE – so in love! Congratulations Annabelle and Richard.
