Unique and modern brides searching for alternative wedding ideas to take them from day to disco will adore this creative bridal editorial…
Words by and images by Alixann Loosle Photography.
We designed a styled shoot around a more unique bride – colourful hair, non-traditional accents, unique floral pieces. Britlyn + Tanzie (the lovely girlfriend/girlfriend duo from Metal & Moss) designed some really interesting floral pieces for this shoot, including a forward-reaching headpiece and floral top to pair with the bride’s skirt.
We used a vintage velvet chair to add to the ambience of the vintage vibes we had going. We really wanted to show a non-traditional bride’s approach, so we added these amazing Jeffrey Campbell shoes. Who says a bride has to wear glam stilettos? Why not switch it up?
Makeup was soft for daytime, but we switched it up for the nighttime shots and added colour and vibrancy.
Every wedding has a dance party so we really wanted to show how a look can transfer from day to night. The bride played around with her amazing skirt, spinning in circles and feeling free to move.
We finished off with some super cool dancing shots with purple lights and a unique floral top to pair with the bride’s flowing skirt.
