Josh proposed to me on 19th November at the top of The Shard.
When it came to the planning of our wedding, I like simplicity. I love fresh clean styles nothing too bold, nothing too fancy. In my eyes, less is always more and I even had this view when choosing my photographer.
My wedding dress was by Pronovias – I wanted something elegant and classy but with a statement. My train and veil were definitely the statements I wanted.
Joshua wore a Marks & Spencer suit and I arrived in a Rolls Royce!
My Dad, Dave gave me away and I walked down the aisle to Shania Twain ‘From This Moment’ (mum and dads wedding song, which was a surprise for my mum).
Danielle Smith was our AMAZING wedding photographer!!! From beginning to end, such a lovely warm person to have around us on the day. And her assistant too!
When it came to the wedding decor, we forgo wedding favours and had large balloons for decoration. My florist was my cousin which added a real personal touch to the day.
One of our most memorable moments was walking in hand in hand to all our guests as Mr and Mrs Watkins.
If we could impart any wisdom we would say… Take everything in that you can because it goes by so fast. Take 5/10 minutes to just sit at the top table and look at all your guests and that picture will never leave you.
