Your dream wedding might be a Tuscan inspired soiree but, budget, logistics or insert other, travelling to Italy might not be an option for you and your bridal party. That doesn’t mean however that you can’t bring a touch of Tuscan wedding inspiration to your big day, and today, this gorgeous feature shows you how to get the Tuscan look, even if you’re still celebrating in the UK!

The event took place in the rolling hills of Southwest England at a gorgeous Historic Estate called Escot House. We started shooting in The White Room that showed off character features like antique mirrors, a stunning fireplace, original hardwood floors and tall windows. The light poured into the room beautifully, really adding a glow to our models. It truly felt like Tuscany!
The mantel and the bride’s bouquet were dressed with a mixture of roses, ranunculus, anemone, hellebore, jasmine, plum blossom, fern and olive foliages. Sarah wore stunning hand made hairpieces and jewellery. Amongst my favourite were Natalie Perry’s Indian inspired gold earrings and necklace that boasted the most beautiful detail.
The wedding cake design was decorated with handcrafted sugar flowers to mimic the beautiful fresh blooms and had hand-painted seed head details in edible gold. The wedding invitations and stationery were also hand-painted and finished with a fine gold trim to tie the look together… Delicate and elegant.
We feel honoured to have been lent Sassi Holford’s wedding gowns… the first lace dress (The Imogen) with a beautiful v line neck and form-fitting details. The second (The Millie) flaunting a cute and feminine bow at the back of her neck. Each so wonderful if their own ways!
We finished with dinner for two outside of the Escot House with beautiful historical details overlooking the evening light falling on the hills in the distance.
The table was dressed with gold dinner wear, red-lit candles, red roses and greenery, crystal glasses and fresh cherries for a final touch.
During the golden hour, we went outside to shoot in front of a beautiful, towering floral wall. The photos in particular really show off the Imogen dress against the greenery. I like these photos as it shows off the flirtatious and fun connection between the models as well.
