Chelsea Old Town Hall, London Wedding: Jessica & Rhys

We bought our first home after just one year together in October 2018 and on Christmas day (December 2018) Rhys proposed with my dream ring which he designed himself from scratch. He even had to get an uber on Christmas day to Heathrow airport to collect it as it flew in from Dubai where it was made! I thought he was collecting a first edition book but little did I know it was a ring.

I knew I wanted to wear bridal separates as it was a more relaxed affair. I had been searching high and low for the perfect full-length silk skirt and found the one I wore on Instagram via Belle & Bunty who have the sweetest little shop in Kentish Town. I ended up pairing the skirt with a matching silk cami and lace long-sleeved top, both also from Belle & Bunty. I loved the contrast of this outfit with my Mallorca dresses and the lace made me feel like Grace Kelly on her wedding day! Elegant and sophisticated.

I carried white gypsophila which perfectly complimented the lace of my top. My mother tied the flowers together with a silk ribbon and added pearl pins to match my pearl headband and earrings.

My father, Bobbie Bradley walked me down the aisle to Canon in D, Pachelbel.

Emis our wedding photographer made me feel so at ease on the day, I didn’t even know he was there half the time which I think is so important when you are already a nervous, blushing bride!

We love Fulham and Chelsea, so much so we bought in Fulham last year. I have always wanted to get married legally at Chelsea Old Town Hall, ever since I started renting in London in my mid-twenties. Rhys and I also met in Chelsea… there are so many reasons!

If we could offer any advice to other couples… Don’t sweat the small stuff… Things will inevitably not go to plan but try your best not to let it upset you. Focus on each other and your guests (because I promise they won’t have noticed). It really does fly by!
