Autumn Colours, Rustic Country House Wedding: Becky & Adam

Autumn Colours, Rustic Country House Wedding: Becky & Adam

We chose Trevenna, Liskeard as our wedding venue because of its all-inclusivity and its country, rustic vibes.

The package included stunning and clean rooms for up to 40 guests and great reviews that were justified.

I wore an ivory princess dress with equins and diamante at the top and a clear, embellished netting at the back of the dress.

I fell in love with the top part of the dress, it fitted beautifully and the back of the dress showed my figure off well (I have an hourglass-shaped body). I didn’t want a strapless dress as I wanted to feel comfortable and have no fear of it sliding down on our big day.

All my bridesmaids wore different pastel colours consisting of plum, lilac and lavender for my younger bridesmaids. All 3 dresses were the same style – lace at the top and floor-length

My beautiful sister-in-law wore a different floor-length dress which was nude/coral with embellished flowers and bees from Asos.

We had so much luck with the amazing weather we had, which made our ceremony really special with Trevenna’s countryside backdrop. The reading of our pre-selected vows was a moment we’ll never forget. Both our Mums each read a short poem and they chose what they thought represented a long and healthy marriage.

Tracey our wedding photographer was not only a fantastic photographer but a breath of fresh air, taking away any stress when it came to the organisation of the day and the pre-wedding arrangements.

It was brilliant to have a photographer who shared the excitement of our day and had the confidence and experience to capture amazing moments whilst not being intrusive. Her work captured moments that we will treasure for life and we couldn’t recommend a better photographer. Kind, passionate and talented.

The order of the day was painted on a pallet by my friend Yolanda. For wedding decor, we had bunting with our names on, made by my friend Alice Pascoe.

The bunting was a range of yellows, browns and oranges and hung in the barn where we had our wedding breakfast – this was made by my mum, Christine.
