Changing Seasons: A Harvest Moon Inspired Bridal Editorial
This gorgeous styled shoot was captured by the ever so talented Emma Pilkington Photography in her signature natural light style. Shot against the backdrop of Owen House Wedding Barn, hand-painted fabric backdrops were used by wedding stylist Louise at L27 Weddings to pull together the entire look for this Harvest Moon inspired bridal editorial.
Words and Images by Emma Pilkington.
Our Harvest Moon bridal editorial embraced all the rustic & warm tones of the change in season. We wanted to create some beautiful wedding inspiration for the modern, fashionable bride who is planning an autumn or winter wedding.
Kate Edmondson Bridal Couture created some beautiful bespoke flowing bridal gowns for the shoot using gorgeous floral laces & tulle fabrics. All the dresses had an effortless, modern boho and timeless vibe. We paired these dresses with some elegant Bella Belle shoes in a delicate floral print.
The delicate jewellery supplied by Victoria Fergusson and Alabaster Dreams completed the bridal look perfectly. Hair and make-up artist Sarah Morten created several laid back bridal hairstyles and complimented them with natural glowing make-up. Sarah uses only natural and organic products in her kit, allowing the natural beauty of the model to shine through.
Florist Smoke Bush Floral created an incredible wildflower bouquet and stunning natural table arrangements – these perfectly complimented the fashion conscious and minimal table decor by L27 Weddings. She also created an incredible dried flower headpiece which we used for some striking bridal portraits.
The modern stationery by 315 Press was also the perfect addition to the table settings and flat lay imagery on the beautiful linen backdrop boards. This effortlessly shows that your personality and wedding theme can totally come across in your stationery designs. Hannah Matilda created a minimal wedding cake that I think you’ll agree was perfectly adorned with the dried flowers.
What an absolutely stunning set of images, hasn’t Emma captured all of the wonderful suppliers and their talents so beautifully? I’m in love with this wonderful wedding inspiration? It’s so hard not to be, isn’t it!
