Luxury Bohemian Wedding Inspiration with Caramel, Rust & Raspberry

Our concept was to create a luxurious shoot, but with a bohemian twist. We chose caramel, rust and pink colours to make this bohemian wedding inspiration really rich in tone. This created a beautiful autumnal vibe, especially with the added touches of raspberry, black and gold.

The Flowers

Structured flowers such as roses added formality as well as a more luxurious appearance. We combined this with cloud-like floral textures to create a relaxed look for a soft and romantic feel.

Table Decor

A statement floral centrepiece with fresh blooms in our concept colours created an abundant and luxurious feel. A hand-dyed silk caramel shade runner was draped down the middle of the lovely dark wood table. It worked so well with the venue.

Pampas grass was ruled out for this shoot as although typically ‘boho’ we felt it had been done many times before, so instead, we opted for the grasses and trailing dyed asparagus fern as alternatives to achieve the modern luxe boho aesthetic.

Black and gold candlestick holders with caramel shade taper candles and glass tea light holders were used in our setting. We finished dressing the table centrepiece with fresh fruits such as pomegranate, blackberries, raspberries and figs to add that extra black and raspberry colour.

Place Settings

Each place setting had a rattan charger plate to give a boho feel with pink cut glassware, matt black cutlery, modern-looking matt black dinner plates, salmon pink monogrammed napkins and simple handmade menu cards and place names cards.

The menu and name cards in blush pink shades were added on top of the plate. Peach coloured iced biscuits with gold leaf and embossed detail brought contrast from the plate and a handmade “Crazy in Love” artisan lollipop in the colour palette of pink and raspberry finished the setup.

Behind our wedding breakfast table and sofa was the lovely corner backdrop with dried grasses and beautiful blooms in caramel, rust and raspberry shades.

The Bridal Look

Latisha our model wore the ‘Cheryl’ dress with detachable skirt ‘Beale’. We specifically chose this dress as it was modern, elegant and very classy, both by Halfpenny London. With the dress, we introduced “The Audrey” an embroidered script veil featuring an Audrey Hepburn quote of “the best thing to hold on to in life is each other” which felt very fitting for a shoot so soon after the first lockdown.

Latisha’s hair was styled with a relaxed tied up look to suit the bohemian vibe but we also kept it classy. The star piece of the day was the Titania Black Crown, with both the touches of gold and black, though not too much! It was just enough to add texture and to break up the gold a bit and create that all-important statement piece for the bride.

The Cake

The cake table consisted of a cake centrepiece; a two-tier rust/caramel wedding cake. In addition, we had nibbles on the table which included mini vanilla & white chocolate cheesecakes topped with fresh berries, pomegranate, figs, blackberries and raspberries.

Our shoot was finished with the all-important neon sign. We chose a neon heart because it could be held and placed in different ways, definitely something a little bit more special to add to our shoot.
