Intimate 2nd Wedding in Greece
We married at Villa “Kastello Kalliste” in Crete (Greece). We chose this venue because of the perfect sea view and beautiful Greek columns of the ceremony area with a pathway and grass all around it. We just totally fell in love with that sea view.

The Wedding Planners
Alessandro and Alexandra from Double A Weddings created our whole wedding, from the concept to the actual realization and coordination. In the beginning, they asked us about our interests, priorities and the maximum budget that we wanted to spend on our wedding. They showed examples of wedding styles and decor inspiration, and we went from there.
The Stationery
Double A Weddings also created our wedding stationery and menus. They created sketches of decor based on our preferences (they even did a 3d visualization of the ceremony area). And last but not least, they created a superb dinner menu, it was really delicious!
The Wedding Dresses
I had two wedding dresses as I was just in love with both of them, especially the one for the ceremony, it was breathtaking! I always dreamt of a wedding dress like that. Alexandra from Double A Wedding said: “Alena, this dress was made for you!” and I fully agreed with her!
The Ceremony
We had a symbolic ceremony that was fully personalized. It was our second wedding (the first we did with our families and this one we wanted to do just for us and our friends, we dreamt of many beautiful pictures and a lot of fun).
Decor Inspiration
Our planners suggested we use local plants to be more eco-friendly and to also save money. I love pampas grass, so my choices were arrangements created mainly from pampas grass and eucalyptus.
Words of Wisdom
If I could impart any words of wisdom I would say… Marry the same man for the second time! We have a beautiful daughter and are very happy together, we decided to make our second wedding just for us. Just like this! It was outstanding!

I’ve always loved reading your blogs and browsing the photos of venues, food and dresses. This dress is out of this world! I am so in love right now, I would actually plan my own 2nd wedding just to wear this dress! Bride is beautiful and super happy, lovely photos and looks like they had a blast, thanks for sharing.
