This elopement took place in authentic Norway, a few steps from the fjords, in the middle of an exceptional landscape and yet unknown to many Norwegians. There were some “hytte” – traditional Norwegian cabins – in the middle of a wild landscape, which gave a fairly mystical atmosphere.
There were many heather and blueberries around which made the bride’s bouquet. She wanted something close to nature, her bouquet represented her taste for simplicity and details. Their preparation took place in one of these “hytte” whose ancient charm and rusticity resounded within them.
The bride loves objects and places that have a story. Therefore, this Norwegian family house was ideal for them perched in the great outdoors. They chose to prepare side by side to savour each second together while agreeing with time… draw, contemplate the landscape, admire each other, and live the moment!
Then they set off to attack the mountain. A two-hour hike, a little slowed down by the irresistible snack of blueberries, to reach a tray above a monumental cascade fueled by the rains in recent days. The sky was a little busy bringing magnificent shades oscillating from blue to gray.
Once on the set, there was a brief downpour, as if to refresh them after their efforts. Finally, when reading their wishes, by the lake, the sun did them the honour of its presence by piercing the big clouds. Magic moment … Then, they carried out their ritual of purification of alliances … The feeling was exceptional! Nature seemed to want to celebrate this moment with them.
This day highlighted everything they are: dreamers, adventurers, wild, authentic, creative, gourmet, and shamans, …This elopement in their image, allowed them to celebrate their love, and in contact with nature, in a very simple and extremely powerful way at the same time!
