Kellie and Joshua met when they matched on Bumble. They hit it off quickly and met up — only to find that they lived a couple blocks away from each other. After dating for a while, Joshua surprised Kellie by taking the day off work and planning a trip to the Unitas Mountains in Utah. He proposed in a scenic spot off the Lofty Lake Loop trail.
The couple’s Sundance wedding was inspired by springtime and Scandinavian florals. They chose a base colour palette of green to cover with colourful blooms.
Joshua’s father officiated their ceremony under a vibrant arbour while the mountainous backdrop towered overhead.
Thanks to record snowfall the previous winter, the river on the property overflowed, providing a soundtrack of rushing water to complement the day.
After the ceremony, guests headed to a chalet next to the stream for drinks and a lively reception featuring pastel pillar candles, blush glass goblets, and poppy arrangements. After a long night of dancing, the newlyweds and their guests went to the Owl Bar at Sundance, a restored 1890s pub, and celebrated over cocktails.
