I’ve recently featured a few stunning beach weddings and styled shoots so I guess this has been lurking in my sub-conscious and whilst eating breakfast with my husband on Saturday I heard a song that I used to love and haven’t heard in a while. So naturally, Down By The Sea (by Morcheeba) became this weeks wedding inspiration.
It’s a deliciously moody palette of sand, mood greys and blues with darker pops of an almost black blue contrasted with a cornflower blue…
To get the beachy wedding look right, add lots of natural materials that you’d find down by the sea… shells, driftwood, coral and accessorise with bare feet and wind-swept tresses…

And in WTW news it’s been a busy ‘ole week with loads of new people to mention on the blog.
We welcome brand new sponsors Jenny Owens Photography to the blog, you can see one of Jenny’s gorgeous styled shoots here.
Fine art wedding photographer, Sarah Folega also joins the wtw gang, and I definitely can’t wait to feature her work on the blog.
You may recall previously featured weddings from The Wardette Studio on the blog? So excited to re-welcome the lovely Gemma back to the fold – she’s such a talented photographer.
To the directory we say a big hello to the following wedding businesses Blue Attic Band, Talk of the Town Parties and Most Curious Rose. So proud to have these talented wedding vendors as part of the directory and can’t recommend them highly enough. In fact, I wrote a post about Blue Attic 9 piece covers band!
