Yesterday was International Women’s Day, so to celebrate I’m sharing this super fun and girly bridal party shoot – it’s full of tropical pineapples, coconuts, aztec prints and gorgeous girls!
Of course getting married is all about you and your love – but it’s also about family and those deeply cherished friendships. This shoot celebrates those closely held bonds and the joy friends feel for their about-to-be-married bestie.
Captured and created by talented Reunion Island wedding professionals tiara photographie & mademoizelle pauline I’m sure you will adore this creative sun drenched, tropical shoot…

I’m a french Wedding Planner living in Reunion Island (www.mademoizellepauline.com), I’ve been planning weddings for a little bit more than 2 years for people from Reunion Island or others living all around the world who wants to celebrate their big day on a tropical island.
If you’ve never heard about Reunion island, it is a small island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, between Madagascar and Mauritius. You can find there beautiful beaches, mountains, amazing peoples etc..
For this shoot we wanted with the photographer to show a bridal party, girls having fun on the beach within a beautiful tropical decor. We are real fans of modern patterns especially aztec patterns so we chose to mix it with the tropical mood of the island with coconuts, pineapples …
We wanted with this shoot to show a beautiful moment that girls want to spent with their friend, the bride to be, right before her wedding.
Everyone included in the shoot is working on the Island, we’ve worked with a talented videographer, a gifted hair dresser and make-up artist, the perfect jewelry designer, amazing bohemian clothes provided by the most amazing clothes shop in the island, with a interior design shop and beautiful models who represents best the island melting-pot.
All of them represent best what we can do on this beautiful french Island and what we love.
My personal favorite memory of the day is everyone good mood, we loved to work together on this project the weather was perfect and everyone had so much fun.
Such a beautiful shoot and a fun way to celebrate friendship and marriage. On a more serious note, did you know that every year there are over 15 million ‘forced / early’ marriages of under eighteen year old girls around the world.
Unicef and wedding friends Bridal Musings are currently running a campaign to highlight and hopefully bring an end to child marriage. Please watch the following video and share to bring more awareness to the plight of many young girls who sadly don’t get their happy ever after.
A beautiful wedding trailer with a shock ending.
Please share this film far and wide!
