Paris In The Country: A Styled Wedding Inspiration.
Afternoon my loves. I have a humdinger of a post to share today… this styled bridal shoot is crammed with so much beauty I. heart. every. single. detail. The colours are heavenly, the dress is dreamy, the venue is gorgeous and the flowers are exquisite… I also adore the charming little story of our blushing bride that accompanies the shoot… read on.
The story…
While studying abroad in the city of love, our bride was swept off her feet by a Parisian whose charming disposition won her over in a few hours of conversation.
With each passing day they became more fond of each other’s company, and he taught her to live as a true lady of Paris.
As her program neared to a close, the pressure of their time together forced them to consider the future of their relationship.
In the evening of her last night there, illuminated by moonlight and framed by the Eiffel Tower, he proposed his hand in marriage, to which she gladly accepted.
A humble girl from rural Virginia, her only wish was that they could hold the wedding in her hometown.
With a newfound appreciation of the culture that had brought them together and the family she was about to become a part of, she choose to integrate Parisian influences and design throughout the wedding celebration.
An amber and blush color pallate resonates throughout her florals, accessories, and menu choices. Katie Stoops Photography captured and inspired the day’s theme. The Goodstone Inn in Middleburg was the perfect venue for its rural county landscape. Bouquet and floral arrangements fitted with handpainted fiddlehead ferns were deisnged by Holly Heider Chapple and were captivating. Those perfectly pink, Macaroons were made by OCakes, and I think we all can agree YUMM!
Tablesettings were provided by DC Rental, while the white couch & vintage pink velvet chair were provided by Vintage Rust. His collection is truly inspiring, we suggest you take a peak! Meant To Be Calligraphy made her mark on the invitations, placecards, and other signage, while Paperzest provided the unbelievable stationery.
Our bride’s look was carefully created by a team of specialists. The dress was provided by designer Monique Lhuillier and fitted by stylist Gabriella Lehimdjian. The dress, veil and stylist were all from Carine’s Bridal in DC. The subtly sweet garter was hand crafted by The Garter Girl. Makeup was done by Natalie Gordon of Avenue 42, and hair was styled by Hair by Giselle.
Hoooow, how pretty my loves? Don’t you just ADORE those golden eggs, ‘please smash to celebrate our bash’? Super, super cute!
