A nostalgic and beautiful 40s inspired wedding… {part 2}

So today was my first day back at work after the Christmas and New Year break. My first day back has been my first ‘work from home’ day {I have now gone down to 4 days a week to concentrate on my course and blog}. It’s gone relatively well, this is my 2nd blog post of the day but, I’ve got to admit that the TV and lazing around for the last 10 days haven’t helped my motivational levels…

Anyways, I hope your day hasn’t been too bad, mind you with the torrential rain and wind, it being the first day back at work, reports that 2012 will be the year the world ends, stats saying that this is the highest rate day for couples filing for divorce as well as the most depressing day of the year… {are we surprised after that list!!} I wouldn’t blame you for feeling a little blue.

So, to spread a little cheer I thought I’d blog part 2 of my A nostalgic and beautiful 40s inspired wedding including gorgeous images of the vintage afternoon tea party, you will indeed be salivating! And the cutest baby ever captured in a blog post!! Enjoy my lovelies XxX To see Part 1 click here.

I adore Sarah’s style! Her bridesmaids dress is fabulous, loving the colour!A nostalgic and beautiful 40's inspired wedding...

‘We chose the Mulberry as we wanted somewhere that was informal, a bit quirky , with great food. The Mulberry ticked all of those boxes. The décor is very ’shabby chic’, with lots of vintage china and tea sets, which went very well with the 1940’s theme of our wedding’
