Hello ladies, today’s real wedding features one totally knock-out bride! Kerrie-Ann & Simon, had a vintage influenced winter wedding held in a pretty, rustic barn setting.
Kerrie-Ann looks AMAZING in her beautiful lace wedding gown, accessorised with glossy dark vintage waves, a slick of red lipstick and the most beautiful headpiece and veil. A very stylish bride indeed!

I chose a Suzanne Neville wedding dress for my big day. I adored the lace and the weight of the Hepburn dress, the incorporated bodice shaped my curves beautifully and hid a multiple of sins :)
My headpiece was handmade by Euphoria Couture and my wedding shoes were an absolute bargain from House of Frasier!
My bridesmaids found their own patent black shoes from various suppliers and I sourced their 50’s style swing bridesmaid dresses from Vivienne of Holloway. I chose duchess fabric and a mix of black and white petticoats.
I applied my own wedding day make-up and my friend styled my hair!
On the day I wore two veils. The first veil (wore for ceremony) was also from Suzanne Neville but was a last minute change. Jane from Suzanne Neville in Guildford was amazing to create it so quickly! My second veil was a bird cage from euphoria culture.
Our wedding was a civil ceremony at Notley Tythe Barn, Long Crendon in Buckinghamshire. We loved the intimate feel of the barn and I also really wanted to get married close to home. It’s such a charming, sweet venue and we fell in love with it the moment we saw it!
Simon and his groomsmen wore traditional tales and the best man wore his own kilt! My bridesmaid accessorised their dresses with cream/white gloves and brown fur stoles.
My Dad and I arrived in a gorgeous vintage car. A 1947 Plymouth.
My Dad (a.k.a Pa Pullin) also walked me down the aisle to ‘All you Need is Love by the Beatles’.
Walking down the aisle and saying my vows was definitely one of the most memorable parts of the day.
Our amazing photographer was Rebecca from Rebecca Wedding Photography. Everyone absolutely adored her, including us! Such an inspiration! It was a complete pleasure to have Rebecca capture our wedding day and such amazing pictures!
We decorated the barn with handmade bunting, cream bird cages and church candles.
We also made our own wedding favours by planting Hyacinth’s in vintage teacups. An amazing idea from our wonderful florist.
Our wedding cake was a Waitrose, two layer sponge cake. The top tier was fruit and our florist decorated with flowers. We purchased our vintage cake stand on line.
For entertainment we had a ratpack singer with accompanying five piece live band.
And we chose ‘Beyond the Sea’ by Bobby Darin as our first dance. We became engaged underwater while on holiday in Kenya, one year to the day of our wedding.
If I could impart any words of wisdom? Have a wonderful husband to-be who is amazing with a spreadsheet! We also booked our wedding venue as soon as possible – shortlist places before visiting to save time. We loved having our ceremony & reception in the same venue, less stress.
Wow what a fab day Kerrie-Ann and Simon had, their wedding looks like so much fun! And isn’t Kerrie-Ann such a gorgeous bride!? I’m am super in love with her style!
