Evening ladies! I think it’s a crying shame that a beautiful wedding can be featured on one blog only {sometimes this is due to exclusivity rights}. Imagine if you don’t follow said blog… you may never get to see the beauty of that wedding! Well, thankfully for us the lovely Tracey of Hatunot blog was more than pleased for this beautiful wedding to appear on Want That Wedding too. I’m absolutely in love with this pretty, picturesque garden wedding and the beautiful images captured by talented tog Claire Morgan. So enjoy… and I’ll leave you with a few words from Claire…
It was such an honour for us to be invited to Santiago, Chile to document Dominic and Jenny’s special day. Jenny is Chilean and Dominic is from Vienna, Austria where they both met while she was doing work experience.
They fell in love instantly and kept a long distance relationship for 3 years between Vienna and Santiago, where Jenny was then working, and then San Francisco where Jenny was studying.
They had an outdoor ceremony in the garden by a river held by 2 of Jenny’s best friends which made it very romantic and special.
They decided to get married in Chile since Jenny’s family is so big and so those based in Europe flew over for the wedding.
They legally married on 11.11.11 at 11.11 am at the city hall in Santiago with just close friends and family.
On 13.11.11 they had a jewish wedding ceremony followed by dinner and dancing with around 180 guests.
Jenny had 9 Bridesmaids who all wore pink dresses, and Dominic had 8 Groomsmen who all wore pink bow-ties.
Jenny chose Casona Canaveral as their wedding location, a beautiful historic house surrounded by nature situated just outside of Santiago before you reach the Andes mountains.
The reception took place in a big white marquee in the garden and I just loved the hanging lanterns they placed everywhere.
I love how Jenny and Dominic gave each guest a handwritten thank you card at their places, so special.
I was very honoured to be flown to Chile from Vienna for their wedding and I am happy to call them true friends now!
What an absolute joy of a wedding. So, so pretty and that dress! Jenny looks amazing :) Unfortunately for us though dear brides Jenny is unable to the remember the name of the designer, she did say however that she bought it from a small boutique in Santiago!!
Congratulations Jenny and Dominic, you make such a lovely couple. Lovely ladies please don’t forget to leave this gorgeous couple your love and congrats on the blog.
