Earthy Tones: Burst Of Orange | Styled Wedding Inspiration
Hello my loves! Are you well? I do hope so :) ! I’m great thank you very much, just incredibly busy at the mo, juggling the day job, the blog as well as organising an EPIC styled bridal shoot {will keep you posted} is keeping me on my little tippy toes!! So huuuuge apologies if recently my posts seem a little slim on the ground!
I do however have an absolute corker to share with you today. When I saw pics of this styled bridal shoot on facebook I fell in love immediately with the colour scheme. I really adore the earthy tones used in the vintage styling and contrasted against the bursts of orange in the pretty floral arrangements, it makes for a stunning set-up. The model looks pretty as a picture too in this softly styled shoot and those Charlotte Balbier bridal gowns… soooo dreamy!
I’ll leave you with the ever so lovely and fabulous florist Claire from Blush Rose who explains the shoot in her own words… enjoy!!

We set out one day in April for a shoot organized by the lovely Maxine from Little White Books. Maxine was hoping to get the right shots for the front cover of Little White Books {a wedding fair magazine}. Maxine organizes most of the successful wedding fairs across the north east and selects venues based on overall customer satisfaction.
Maxine called on Mick Cookson one of the leading photographers here in Manchester. Mick’s wealth of knowledge and professionalism was definitely the steady rock that was required on the day. Sadly, due to the rainy weather the shoot had to be shot indoors!
So our plans for shooting in the beautiful gardens of Edgerton House in Bolton were dashed as the rain did not stop!! Not to be deterred however, we set up within the beautiful country house and before we knew it the team had worked non stop to create different looks for the magazine cover.
Maxine chose muted greens and browns with a burst of orange, and we brought this all together with pretty props. I really felt that the pieces from Debbie at Glamour Bridal in Bolton were pretty spectacular!! The wedding gown collection consisted of beautiful gowns by one of our favourite bridal designers, Charlotte Balbier.
I collaboratted with Natalie from L.O.V.E Bouquets putting together fresh and jewelled bouquets for the shoot. I really believe brides will love the fresh and jewelled bouquets together, they work so well and are perfect for any wedding.
The flowers combined with cakes from Cats Whiskers Cakes and oh so pretty wedding stationery by Clairabow unite the whole look of the natural earthy tones.
Last but not least, I’d like to say a lovely ‘big thanks’ to the hair and makeup team who worked together on our patient and pretty model, Georgia Jade who was an absolute pleasure to work with.
As you can see, even though it was raining, it sure didn’t stop us from producing this soft yet striking shoot. Well done Maxine and the team, I cannot wait to work with you all again soon! Watch this space…
What an amazing job guys and thanks so much for sharing with Want That Wedding!! It just goes to show you what wonderful wedding pretty can be created when a bunch of wedding peeps put their talented heads together. I LOVE IT and I hope you lovely brides are feeling the love {and inspired} too.
Lots of Love
XxX Sonia
