Win Your Wedding Stationery | The Tiny Card Company

Happy Friday! I hope you have lots of exciting plans for the weekend. Do remember to take time off from all the wedding planning though, as after a while it can wear you down! It’s important to not let it completely overtake your life. I shall be making sure I find a spot in the sun this weekend, that’s for sure… and if it’s your wedding this weekend, enjoy! It’s going to be a scorcher.

Today I’m running a competition to win your wedding stationery with The Tiny Card Company! Yes the folks over there are über excited about the launch of their new ‘Florence’ stationery range and to celebrate they’re offering one lucky WTW reader the opportunity to win 100 wedding invites, worth £345! Yay. Look out for instructions at the bottom of the post on how to enter.

The Florence Wedding Stationery Collection

Passion for beautiful papers runs throughout tiny card company designs, and the new ‘Florence’ collection, designed in collaboration with Jemma Lewis Marbling is no exception.

I first came across Jemma whilst searching for the perfect paper for a peacock-themed wedding. We very quickly came up with the idea of putting together a collection of wedding stationery to showcase Jemma’s stunning work. This is the first time we’ve collaborated with another designer and we’re thrilled with the results.

Gatsby Glamour.

The Florence collection features a traditional chevron pattern brought right up to date with a luscious splash of colour. Simple and graphic, Florence’s striking design has more than a hint of Art Deco about it – perfect for lovers of Gatsby era style.

Colour to suit your wedding style.

Three colours in the collection – Coral, Teal and Plum – can be paired with either a strong or pale coloured surround to suit your wedding style. Teal and ivory is fresh and summery, with a whiff of sea breeze, when combined with a deep blue it feels smarter, with a suggestion of deco glamour. Plum against a background of deep aubergine is rich and decadent and velvety, palest blush adds the lightness of silk organza. Coral and blush evoke vibrant summer blooms; coral and burgundy has a more autumnal feel. The Pewter version features highlights of real silver for a touch of luxe and sits perfectly against a chic blush background.

What Jemma has to say.

Our exciting collaboration with The Tiny Card Company has been a great way for us to highlight the way hand marbled papers can be used in contemporary design. Usually associated with the endpapers of antique books paper marbling began in the far east as early as the twelfth century.

The design we chose for the wedding stationery collaboration is called a Chevron Design as it is stylish, contemporary and worked well on a small scale.

Each colour-way features approx. 4 complimentary paint colours which are laid onto the tray of size and combed into lines with a styles. A specially made comb is then pulled through the design one way then another to creating the striking 3D effect of the Chevron.

Every paper is created individually and only one sheet can be produced from one application of paint, therefore every paper is unique.

So to enter >>> The competition is to win 100 invitations in the new Florence design. All you readers need to do is fill in this form. The winning entry will be picked at random and notified after the closing date of July 31st.
