Here at WTW we love home grown talent and today I have an amazing British based bridal collection to share with you. I am always amazed and totally fall in love with each and every design stylish duo, Hannah and Alice of Belle & Bunty come up with. Their pretty little fingers are always on the fashion pulse of what’s hot, stylish and incredibly beautiful in wedding world.
What I love most about this incredible collection is the beautiful and delicate lace and tulle materials that glide gracefully over the silk underlays of these divine wedding dresses. Inspired by the seductive glamour of Mata Hari no less, these boho style bridal gowns look effortlessly chic paired with matte gold statement earrings and floral headpieces and cuffs. I’m seduced already!
I’ll hand you over now to ever so lovely ladies who talk about their beautiful bridal collection in detail.
The Ophelia
Inspiration for the collection has been taken from the early 1900’s and the exotic Dutch dancer, turned spy Mata Hari’s carefree, dark provocative style. Exotic, alluring and sensual, Hari was a free-spirited bohemian and seductress who was the first woman in the 20th century to achieve “celebrity” status.
The Ophelia
She was a famous advocate for the Women’s Vote and Equal Rights and showed great strength, and personal courage. Known for her love of jewels, ornamental armwear and headpieces, her style exuded opulence and luxury.
The Bunty
Subtle elements of this have been woven into the new collection in true Belle & Bunty style with jewels and textures of delicate laces layered on top of delicious fluid silk satins, chiffons and morocains providing the understated glamour so synonymous to the label.
The Blossom
The campaign shoot images depict a Starlet from times gone by waiting back stage before her starring moment in front of the big lights. The collection is worn with a nonchalant glamour and opulence, contrasting against the gritty reality of the unseen life of a travelling star such as Mata Hari.
New styles include The Aster, a full sleeve frothy style combining a delicate dotty tulle & beautiful lace.
The Aster
The flattering Blossom dress has hints of texture with its tiny lace capped sleeves and lace peplum, while The Valentina’s flare satin skirt and lace hanging bodice enhances the wearers waist.

The Valentina
A more structured style, The Maple has clean lines offset with a dark antique crystal belt for a true mix of modern and vintage. The blush silk satin underskirt of The Ophelia allows the beautiful ivory lace to do the talking in this dropped waist style with godet inserts, key to the Belle & Bunty collections.

Scallop lace trim and dotty tulle is used to perfection with the introduction of the strapless Tulip Dress, styled with wide silk satin sash.
The Tulip
The flirtatiousness of Belle & Bunty’s bridal collections fuse contemporary style with romance and timeless elegance providing a modern vintage feel for the spirited bride craving a flattering, feminine dress which truly is a joy to wear.
The Bunty
Lovers of fine details and only the best fabrics, Alice Shreeve and Hannah Coniam-Thompson, the Creative Directors behind the label, have created a range of dresses for confident, cool brides looking for uniquely designed dresses with figure enhancing silhouettes.
