We’re all a little bit obsessed with shoes aren’t we? And when it comes to your wedding day shoes, that obsession can go off the richter scale! Well, I’m here to take you even further into your shoe lust frenzy…
Today’s post is showcasing the gorgeous wedding shoe creations of renowned bridal shoe designer, Rachel Simpson! The mini shoot was held at the beautiful Botanical Gardens in Birmingham and is a rather swoon-some affair.
Excitingly, Rachel’s 2014 collection now includes chic handbags and accessories, as well as stylish shoes for your groom! You’re very welcome :))
The collection consists of thirteen beautiful new designs on four popular heel heights, from classic ballet flats to chic hidden platforms- all with the comfort synonymous with Rachel Simpson shoes.
The showstopper of the collection is Catherine, a stylish suede court shoe framed by a classically vintage peter pan collar, and complete with handmade pearl & diamante brooch- a true original.
It is this elegant yet fun attention to detail which has made Rachel Simpson the go to brand for truly unique shoes with an unmistakable style.
This year, it’s all about lace, luxe and pretty- three key themes of the 2014 collection.
Pretty
Adding a touch of fun to the collection, and definitely the cutie of the collection, the Lulu shoe is a truly fifties inspired peep-toe with pretty double bow trim and contrast binding.
Available in ivory, peach and sky blue, she is perfect for both a traditional look, or to add a subtle pop of colour or something blue. With a comfortable 6cm heel height Lulu is wearable from day to evening, and long after the wedding too!
Luxe
Alongside the sophisticated Catherine, the very regal Victoria sandal is a stunning showstopper of a shoe, with an elegant crossover teardrop strap, superfine metallic binding and intricate stitchwork.
Available in ivory, vintage rose and midnight navy, it is perfect for brides and bridesmaids alike- perhaps even as a stylish something blue. The concealed platform adds extra comfort, on a chic 8.5cm heel.
Lace
Leading the lace story, and designed exclusively for her own wedding, the Rachel shoe combines delicate ivory & champagne lace with a beautiful entwined leather t-bar and super fine metallic binding.
A true signature style, complete with tiny vintage style peep-toe and wearable 8cm heel. Either wear alone or with stunning new golden pearl cluster shoe clips.
In addition, this season Rachel Simpson launches a capsule range of co-ordinating handbags for bride, bridesmaid, mother and guest.
Handmade in the UK using the key materials from the Rachel Simpson collection, the range offers a subtle colour palette in soft kid suede, metallic leather and the beautiful new vintage style lace.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Rachel Simpson wedding shoes! And in this collection there is something for everyone.
These shoes are soooo lovely, I’d be tempted to go for the Amara in pink champagne lace or perhaps the Lulu in peach or the Dottie in ivory or the…
