Happy Friday lovelies! Are you starting to feel Christmassy yet? Not long to go now. If you’re a fan of Christmas and dream of saying your nuptials over the holidays then this Christmas styled shoot will be right up your street.
It’s a rather eclectic mix of styles that come together wonderfully, touches of vintage elegance mixed with a homely Nordic vibe. I absolutely love it and think the wedding vendors involved should be very proud of their beautiful Christmas creation!

Balyna House, an Italianate 19th Century Mansion has been lovingly restored to its original splendour with 10 lavishly decorated bedrooms, its very own private cellar bar and 3 beautifully appointed reception rooms with panoramic views overlooking the surrounding countryside.
Lorraine Browne created a full up style hair-do with linking plaits and a fluffy texture to keep the style playful, creating a more award ceremony look!
Hayley McGowan had a wonderful time painting our brides beautiful face using plums and greys on her eyes and a deep deep burgundy on her amazing lips!
The mansion is reached by a long sweeping tree lined driveway and once inside you experience the distinctive opulence of this glorious mansion with all its period features such as the ornate staircase and stained glass dome.
A group of wedding vendors gathered together on a very wet November day to create a perfect Christmas romance. We wanted a homely feel with a Nordic style so we dressed up the beautiful Balyna House house with gingham , lots of greenery and wood, cinnamon, berries and lots of flickering candles.
A winter wedding gets very little sunlight as the days get shorter and shorter so it’s great to go all out glam with hair and makeup as you are going for a more of a evenings look – so pull out all glam!
The Vantastic Vintage served the best hot chocolate and warm apple cider that was devoured by the crew who also ate all the little gingerbread men, buns and biscuits created by Onceuponatime Cakes.
It was all captured by Ivana Patraic and her magical camera and in movement by the wonderful Simone Kirwan who has put her years of experience creating music videos into capturing your own BIG day by hanging back and filming all those little moments.

Isn’t this shoot fantastic! I can just image your Christmas wedding now. I’m particularly loving all the rustic greenery and gingham set against the pretty twinkly lights and amazing wedding venue, Balyna House. The cute retro van with its sweet treats and festive hot chocolate adds a fun element to the shoot too!
The touches of gold glam in the brides outfit and the stunning glittery stationery give this Christmas wedding inspiration such an opulent feel don’t you think?
