Ballerina Worthy Tulle Gown For a Traditional & Classic Wedding: Rebecca & Scott
This next real wedding I’m sharing with you is a timeless and traditional classic!
Our stunning bride had a slight ballerina vibe going on with her ballerina bun and romantic tulle wedding dress – and their wedding photographer, Ben Clark, captured some wonderful bride & groom portraits! Enjoy.

I grew up learning ballet – so I loved the full skirt on my wedding dress. I simply loved the texture of the skirt and the way that it moved in the wind too. So romantic.
I choose a semi-structure bouquet to reflect the silhouette of my wedding gown. I opted for white so as not to detract from my gown and I selected pink for the bridesmaids because it’s feminine and looked great with the navy blue bridesmaid dresses.
My father walked me down the aisle to the Bridal Chorus by Wagner. The bridesmaids walked downs to Bach – Prelude no. 1 in C Major.
The wedding cake was called Frosted Indulgence – a 3 tier mud cake with a lace motive around the middle tier (to compliment the beaded lace on my gown) and with sugar flowers.
Scott and his family are from New Zealand – in his hometown, there is a boutique chocolate maker. Therefore, we purchased chocolate sheep and kiwi’s as wedding favours for the guests to enjoy at home.
Ben Clark Photography was our wedding photographer. Ben was fabulous on the day – he was extremely professional and relaxed and knew what to do to obtain the shots. Many guests commented on how great he was and how respectful he was throughout the day and night.
If you could impart any words of wisdom to a future bride to be planning her wedding, what would they be?
Try to have everything planned at least 2 weeks from your day. Whilst there will always be things that need to be done later, it will give you time to relax and to enjoy the day. Also, the day goes extremely quickly so I am very pleased to have lovely pictures to remember the day.
What was your most memorable moment of the day / evening?
Seeing my husband for the first time (and his comment in relation to how large my dress was).
What wonderful wedding inspiration to any bride planning a traditional and classic big day. Rebecca’s wedding dress is pure romance…
