Today’s wedding inspiration takes its design inspiration from Palm Springs. Mid-century Americana style meets California Tropicana! Think bold, bright colours, retro patterns and fonts with a whole heap of desert friendly details.
I’ve broken the Palm Springs look down even further though…
Palm Springs Chic or Palm Springs Kitsch?!! Wedding Inspiration & Ideas
Palm springs chic!
Or Palm Springs kitsch? You decide.
Personally I love both… the paired down Palm Springs Chic is sophisticated and fun, whilst the Palm Springs Kitsch is rather fun, retro and cool.
If you’re planning a Palm Springs inspired wedding think the following for a fusion of styles. Mid century, Americana, retro, desert, boho, Aztec, geometric pattern, Tropicana, bold colours – particularly hot pinks, corals, bright blues, orange, baby pinks and blues, turquoise. Air plants, cactus, succulents, tropical blooms, earthy tones, terracotta, palm trees, flamingos, pineapples and dream-catchers.
What comes to mind when you think of Palm Springs? I would love to know.

WTW Wedding Supplier: McBeth Wedding Photography
sponsor news
So what’s been going on this week with our wonderful WTW sponsors? I really enjoyed getting to know the cheeky chappy photographer Craig of McBeth Phototgraphy. Read his fun interview here.
We also welcomed a few new sponsors to the blog. First off Jaunty Twig. Jaunty Twig is a free photo sharing app that you can use to capture, collect and display your guest’s images LIVE at your wedding venue, as well as collecting your hash-tagged images too. As I said, it’s totally FREE so do check them out.
I’ve long been a fan too of Verman Photography, so it’s been a totally proud moment to welcome them to the site. A super cute husband and wife team from St Alban’s, they adore all things wedding! Fine art photography and capturing the raw emotion of their couples (as well as their sweet little cat Tia) are some of the biggest loves in their lives.
That’s it for this week lovelies, but do keep coming back as I have so much more wedding inspiration to share!
