Today’s pretty bridal shoot comes from the heart of Ireland and a talented team of wedding vendors who are crazy passionate about working within the wedding industry and working on creative projects.
If you love romantic bohemian wedding vibes with a pretty pastel twist – you’ll love this super sweet styled shoot!
Words by Lorraine Brown. Images by Cole Dupuis Photography.
The first look was bohemian inspired – we took influence from our surroundings in Ballyheshall Stud… the meadows of spring – wild flowers, blossoms and fresh lilac fragrance.
Hair was kept flowing and loose with little product, skin was flawless and eyes were accentuated with smudges of browns and highlighted with cream tones, lips were kept nude pink as the emphasis was on the immaculate skin.
Nessa Walsh the make up artist is a skin specialist and believes correct skin care for specific skin types is the reason for the flawless, long lasting make up that she is so well known for.
Nessa has a studio where she meets brides for their trials or make up lessons and other beauty treatments – she is based in Co.Offaly.
Bouquets were created by House of Flowers in Mullingar using the colour palette created by Ingabelle and the delicious cakes were created by 2210 Patisserie from Mullingar.
They created a big two tier chunky wedding cake smothered in butter cream and dressed with garden flowers, the tasty cupcakes were held in lace holders for an antique feel.
For the second look we chose a vintage classic style – we kept the pastel tones and used silver for a more antique look with the props and styling location.
The eye make up was deepened with colour and the lips had a nod to the 20s by using a darker matt peach lip
Lorraine Browne the Hair Stylist created a 1920s full regal up-style for the model brides using accessories from Smart Bride. Lorraine created height and touchable texture to keep the style more modern.
For the Bohemian style we brought out the soft pinks and green and touches of gold found in our surroundings on location. Gold is huge for 2015.
Wild flowers were taken from the meadow to dress the tables and bunches of garden flowers gathered to create a simple bouquet.
The gowns are from Smart Bride in Potlaoise they have hundreds of designer wedding dresses and a huge selection of veils and accessories to create your unique bridal look.
The team in Smart Bride offer a personal service with attention to detail in luxurious surroundings for a wonderful shopping experience.
Ingabelle styled the beautiful setting Ballyheshall Stud with its mature gardens and stone walls surrounded by forest full of spring colours.
Ciara hand picked items from her collection of furniture and vintage inspired items.
Ingabelle takes pride in producing individual and unique weddings and events to suit anyone’s style.
All this creativity was captured by photographer Yvonne Cole Dupuis.
Yvonne believes that you should be able to enjoy your day and not miss the best parts by being forced to stand in front of the camera and told to pose in a contrived or unnatural way!
Whether you are comfortable in front of a camera or not, Yvonne’s special talent lies in her ability to put people at ease and capture them at their most fabulous.
Yvonne operates in an unobtrusive way taking images that capture the real spirit of the day. From the moments you remember, even to those you may have missed, captured in an instant, yours to cherish and re-live, forever.
