A Lace Loving, Berta Bridal Inspired Bride: Michelle & Adam

In the last year or two, the iconic Berta Bridal gowns have been all over the internet and pinterest! In today’s real wedding, knockout bride Michelle planned her whole wedding around the iconic Berta Bride look, and we just love her style.

Michelle looks like an absolute babe in her beautiful Berta inspired wedding dress and we think her husband Adam is one lucky fella indeed!

My wedding gown was made by Silk Rose Couture in Sydney – it was inspired by the iconic Berta Bridal Collection and my love for French lace…

I wore a pair of Giorgio Armani wedding shoes in ivory white leather with a gold t-bar.

I purchased tulle from Silk Rose Couture and customized my veil with a local dressmaker in Brisbane to suit the style and length of my wedding dress.

With the detail in my dress I did not accessorize. I kept it simple with pear-shaped earrings which were a gift to me from Adam.

My bridesmaids wore nude Jenelle lace dresses custom made in Sydney by Jenelle with nude shoes and white roses. I also gifted my bridesmaids with Ivory Pearl tear-drop earrings.

My proud Dad William ‘gave me away’ with his blessing. We walked down the aisle to ‘He Raised Me Up’ by Josh Groban.

Our most memorable moment was the beautiful emotions shared when we said our vows to one another.

If you could impart any words of wisdom to a future brides planning their wedding day, what would they be?

Things will never go exactly according to plan no matter how hard you try perfect and plan things prior to the day, try go with the flow and look to the future and keep the real meaning of marriage in perspective.
