Today’s incredible wedding is full of so much gorgeousness! Lovely bride Maria made her own stunning lace and satin two piece wedding dress – the lace bodice is just boho bridal perfection and looks pretty perfect with the contrasting red lacquered shoes.
Their wedding venue was styled to perfection too using rustic burlap, lovely lace, lots of beautiful and romantic candle lighting and lashings and lashings of baby’s breath…
I wore a two-piece wedding dress that I made myself using lace and satin. I wore them with a pair of red lacquered shoes and a pretty pair of earrings Carl-Johan bought me.
My bridesmaids wore old-fashioned pink wedding dresses and we did our own hair and makeup.
Carl-Johan wore a Marin Blue Suit from Oscar Jacobsson (in the church) and Ralph Lauren chinos, a linen shirt, bowtie braces and flat cap for the rest of the day.
Fagerhult Farm in Rydboholm Sweden was our wedding venue – we chose it because it was the perfect place to show the guests “who we are”.
We walked down the aisle together to a traditional wedding song.
Stefan Lacandler of Raw Silk Photography was our wedding photographer – he was the best wedding photographer we ever had ;)
Carl-Johan and I planned everything ourselves, we were inspired by white cotton, lace and burlap with trails of pretty lights.
Our wedding cake was sweet with fresh berries, that’s how we feel, sweet and fresh!
What was your most memorable moment of the day / evening?I thought the church was magical. Carl-Johan says the whole day was perfect, but the most perfect was me…the bride!
If you could impart any words of wisdom to future brides planning their wedding day, what would they be?
Keep it simple – don’t overdo it and put the money on the things that matter in the future (for example the photographs).
Carl-Johan proposed on a vacation on the Greek island of Crete 16 October 2014.
We married on 16 may 2015, 9 month later our son Harry was born 2016-02-16. All good things are in threes. 16, 16, 16. Gods wish, miracle ???
What a particularly gorgeous wedding – I’m loving its relaxed countryside vibe and all that gorgeous rustic detailing!!
