Today’s super pretty wedding has the most stunning romantic, boho vibe and we just love it!
Miren & Carlos married in Basque Country and had a soft autumn ‘theme’ for their wedding day…

We married in Urrugne on Machoenia Farm, it is a farmhouse from s. XVIII – a beautiful place, in the middle of nature. The decor for me was arranged according to the place and the time of year and with which we feel identified, so it was an autumn romantic boho style wedding.
My beautiful wedding dress was by Otaduy and I wore this with a pair of diamond earrings my Mother gave me on the day and a watch that is so special as my Grandmother gave it to me before she passed away.
My Father walked me down the aisle and it was one of the most special moments for me. It couldn’t be more emotional to enter holding my father’s arm listening to “Xalbadorren Heriotzean”. It is a Basque song, a tribute to Bertsolari (Xalbador). Verses that reach the soul, which also remember those who are not here anymore… for some people, a sad song, but for me very emotional and it reminds me a lot of my family and when I was a child.
Our wedding transport was a Cream-coloured Citroen 2CV.
Carlos and I have been part of the same group of friends since we were young. New Year’s Eve six years ago, I found a flower on my table, I was so surprised… It was from Carlos. A few days later when we met up, we both realised that we would be together forever.
When we arrived at the farm we were greeted with the “txalaparta”, a traditional instrument of the Basque Country and then the Dj Georg S, Jorge Gonzalez.

Our wedding style was romantic and autumnal. We love the fall and we used many dry leaves, pine cones, old roses in orange and salmon and the protagonist in the centrepieces were pumpkins! Large pumpkins that served as the centrepiece, with flowers and leaves.
Also we used many candles, lights and jars with flowers hanging from the trees.
Everybody was telling me this before our wedding and that fact is that the day goes by very fast, just enjoy it and do not worry about the details … If there is anything that does not come out as you had hoped, forget it … the other people don’t expect anything further that day and everything is nice. The day passes very quickly, enjoy and have lots of fun!
We are loving this romantic autumnal wedding. And how beautiful does Miren look in her fabulous Otaduy wedding dress?!
