Lovers and chasers of the light will be raptured by this stunning Nordic styled elopement entitled ‘Nordic Dreams’ that is beautifying the blog today!
Norwegian wedding photographer Ingvild Kolnes, captured these images on Lake Mjosa as part of a photography workshop, and as I’m a little in love with all things Nordic, I just couldn’t wait to share them with you and hope you find them just as inspiring as I do.

These images were taken on an early evening in September on the shore of Norway’s largest lake, Mjøsa. The area is actually known as the Tuscany of Norway. It is the perfect setting for a wedding.
The nature here is stunning any time of year, but especially in the autumn, the tones are almost golden and the low light makes it magical.
The gorgeous bride wears a stunning dress and her super hunky husband is so stylish, both relaxed and elegant.
The styled elopement was held at Hoel Gård and it was just the most amazing venue. The host and hostess made us feel at home and the food was absolutely delicious. I could not recommend it anymore.
I really hope I will get to go back for a wedding some day.
The flower decorations were made by Ina from Eucalyptus, and they are truly unique with timeless and delicate colours. I loved working with the creative team that set all this up.
Especially Koby and Elizabeth Brown who so generously taught us all they know about wedding photography.
I am so privileged to get to know lovely couples in love and tell their stories through my camera. I am currently booking 2018, and I have some dates free for 2017 as well- available for travel world wide.
The light in this styled elopement is lovely and luscious, and I absolutely adore the blush tones used in the styling of the tablescape.
