Today’s breathtakingly pretty is another destination wedding on the picturesque island of Crete. It has an authentic greek wedding theme, with a muted colour palette of soft pastels and it is so, so, so, super pretty.
Laura also looks beautiful in her gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown and Rachel Simpson shoes – and I’m all-kinds-of-in-love with her gorgeous bridal style. The hair, the dress, the flowers… and Ross doesn’t look too bad either ;)

We married at Villa Athermigo in Crete and chose this wedding venue as we love the island and we wanted a rustic, relaxed venue.
I wore a stunning Maggie Sottero wedding dress and loved its simple, flattering shape and the low back.
Wedding flowers were a choice of flowers, and we opted for rustic and simple blooms with a blush colour palette.
My Father Paul walked me down the aisle to Glasgow Love Theme.
Ross and I met on New Year’s Eve 2011, ten minutes before the countdown to midnight. We then dated long-distance for 6 months as I was working as an English teacher in Spain.
We’ve always enjoyed travelling together and often talked about a wedding abroad.
We wanted a simple, laid-back vibe for our wedding styling, with an authentic Greek theme.
For our wedding favours, we gave greek honeypots and chose a minimalistic, simple wedding cake decorated with olive branches and a rose.
Our wedding photographer was HannaMonika – she gave a friendly and personal service.
One of our most memorable moments was cutting the cake to ‘Zorba the Greek’.
If we could impart any words of wisdom to other couple’s planning their big day we would say… Don’t get stressed by insignificant details.
