Rustic Pretty Lake Wedding in Germany: Chris and Johanna

We married at Landleben Potsdam, just outside Berlin, Germany and chose this stunning wedding venue because it was a beautiful setting, on a lake, and they had excellent food.

My pretty wedding dress was tailored at a small shop in Berlin.

Julian was a fantastic wedding photographer, not only did he take amazing pictures but he was such a calm and nice presence to have there on the day. Highly recommended.

We were looking for a rustic wedding cake to match our pretty rustic theme, it was made by the mother of the groom who is a professional cake decorator. We felt it matched the atmosphere perfectly.

We recommend enjoying every minute of the day, because it goes by so fast. Ask for help from friends and family when you need it.

During the planning, and on the day itself. Make time for others on the day, but don’t forget about the person you are marrying. Make time for each other on the day as well.

We met when we were both backpacking through Central America. After a long distance relationship that lasted several months, we moved to Vancouver where we stayed for 3 years.
