This inspirational shoot aims to create a space where two lovers, Riccardo and Elena, can say “forever” surrounded by nature. Adrift from reality and society. Following their hidden dreams.
The location is Faraone Vecchio, a small abandoned villiage in Abruzzo.
Here no one lives anymore. Everywhere you can feel the lonely atmosphere. The time stops. Nature possesses all.
The old houses are destroyed. Trees and bushes have grown free.
Life here stopped because of the earthquake in 2013. In this place, we imagine the moment when two people pledge to love and care for each other in marriage. Under a big tree, we try to recreate a unique atmosphere for Riccardo and Elena, for their marriage promise. No other elements: just Riccardo and Elena with their love.
She is so pretty. Her wedding dress is simple but elegant: a bustier full of small white flowers on top of a soft skirt. He doesn’t need many fashion details: an informal suit and an unkempt beard.
This inspirational wedding shoot’s theme is of course nature. Wild and beautiful nature. Mostly when it is free to grow without a human presence.
The marriage vows are recited in the old town hall. Its arches create interesting perspectives. The tableau is made of panels of different colours. A simple design.
The next step in our story, you can see the wedding table. It is set up in the centre of a small street. It is surrounded by trees. We thought an informal mise en place was perfect for this shoot. A central decoration with bottles and a mix of flowers, bricks of terracotta and small lights that tell us a party will start soon.
The details and colours are close to the earth and nature. Different tones of brown, beige and ocra and the pink of the floral decorations.
The wedding bouquet is made of small flowers. There are no green elements just dry leaves, branches and berries. This choice is intentional. We wanted to avoid confusion between nature and the wedding set.
Small details in blue, especially in the coordinated graphics and in the promise ribbons of love- they give a touch of elegance to the mood of this project.
