Remote Intimate Winter Elopement in Ruined Church
The Vision
The vision for this shoot was an intimate winter elopement in a remote location. Jennie and Laura created the concept and design for the shoot along with a mood board and storyline, they then sourced the perfect suppliers for the vision.

Location and Styling
The location for the shoot was in the ruins of St Peters Church, the beautiful brickwork and stone arches made for a unique location for this intimate set up. The shoot consisted of 2 main elements, the luxe picnic set up and the stunning floral arch centrepiece at the altar of the ruined church.
When designing for this shoot Adeela from Fauxevermore wanted to ensure the flowers reflected both the season and location too. She opted for various shades of greenery including seeded eucalyptus, firs & ferns with added details of berries, pine cones & dried poppy heads for texture & interest.
We decided to use shades of deep red and claret in the deconstructed arch for a dramatic feel against the exposed brickwork & architectural structure. The design was free-flowing & natural to compliment the organic feeling of the open-aired church.
The floral pillars had berries as well as deep red roses and amaranthus to symbolise unfading commitment & love, which in its surroundings of a derelict church, was quite poignant.
The bouquet had touches of ivory to lift the colour palette & compliment the dress, in a natural unstructured design to tie everything together.
The luxe picnic styling was simplistic but elegant with a stunning winter garland adorning the length of the table. Gold and neutral accessories and lots of candlelight were completed with some stunning sweet treats from The Honey Bee Wedding Cake Co.
Fashion and Beauty
The dress was designed and made especially for this collaboration by Indie Bride London. Miina from Indie Bride wanted to design a dream lace dress that would suit the location beautifully. The dress is made of Scottish lace and English lace trimmings. It’s lined with rPET (recycled hard plastic waste like bottles) satin. She wanted the dress to have cool billowy sleeves and as the dress is very detailed due to it being full lace, Miina incorporated an option to transform the dress by making the sleeves detachable.
The hairstyle was an effortless low bun with delicate hair jewellery from Hey Jules. Jules wanted to create something that included lovely warm, rich golden tones with a pop of red. The model’s hair was also very dark in colour and so the gold would be a great choice. She opted for some gold leaves and little sprays of golden crystals with red accents to represent some Winterberries and arranged these with some handmade beaded roses and some Swarovski sparkling set stones for a little twinkle! The makeup was then natural with clean lines and a dark berry lip to add to the winter bride look.
The stunning jewellery was provided by Niche Jewellery and consisted of some gorgeous gold and diamond pieces that fitted the brief perfectly. The Ruby coloured engagement ring paired with the matching gold and diamond circular necklace and bracelets tied it all together and added an additional touch of luxury to this winter elopement.
