Inspiration & Styling
The inspiration for this shoot was a botanical gardens wedding vibe, full of luscious thick greenery foliage with burnt oranges and tonal peaches for some bohemian warmth. We wanted to create an enchanted feel with lots of texture and detail which would give layers to the shoot. An ethereal green base lends itself so well to many different styles and we wanted to explore how it could be transformed by adding warmth, using traditional bohemian colours.

The Ceremony Room at Larkspur Lodge is a space like no other with retro theatre-style seats surrounding the room, monochrome floor tiles and twinkling lights adorning the original oak trusses overhead, creating the most romantic space.
The focal point in The Ceremony Room was a colossal greenery moon gate supplied by The Event Edit. This set the scene for a romantic ceremony and the minimal styling complemented the original features of the masonic hall so effortlessly.
The Lodge Room is a beautifully light open space with exposed red brick walls and featured a full and detailed top table that was bursting with foliage, we wanted to create many layers to the rustic trestle table, from the rust-coloured table runner to the tonal pink and peach taper candles that stood tall in the vintage gold candlesticks.
We took inspiration from the seasonal autumnal colours whilst keeping to the botanical theme filling the table with lots of eucalyptus and fiscus foliage and adding in peacock chairs and macramé details for that bohemian flair.
Fashion & Beauty
We were aiming to aspire to the fashion-conscious, yet relaxed bohemian bride and the stunning dresses supplied by Rock the Frock Cheshire did this perfectly. We wanted to break free from traditional styles and show brides how they can stay true to their individual style whilst still maintaining a bridal look.
With big floaty sleeves paired with a dried flower crown for the ceremony and a simple yet elegant button-down dress with a dark lip for the outdoor shots, the styling does just this and entices those edgy couples who are willing to break the mould. To finish the look, we added pops of colour including a burnt orange suit for the groom, a burnt orange fedora and a super cool leather jacket, showing that it really is all in the detail.
Thanks so much to all the wonderful wedding suppliers below for sharing this wonderfully warm-toned botanical gardens wedding shoot.
