Wedding Inspiration: Hollywood Glamour at Bluebell Railways
This shoot is aimed at couples who would like to celebrate their wedding with an accent of vintage but without compromising on glamour and unconventional location.
The photographer and I started to brainstorm on how we could create a shoot that would be inspiring, original but also particular. We started picking locations from a Fans Museum in London to an abandoned cement factory to finally a steam train. Immediately Irene remembered visiting Horsted Keynes the year before and as soon as I saw the pictures, we decided that this would be our location.
With the venue secured, the other elements started to come together and there was one element that I was absolutely sure about, and this was the gown by Kate Edmondson Bridal Couture.
The details on the top with the high necklace and fitted sleeves gave the classic modern but vintage feel we wanted to achieve, and it beautifully complemented by the 3 layers of tulle skirt.
To complete the look, the comb ‘Grace’ perfectly enhanced the beautiful hair styling and earrings gave the glamour sought after both from Rachel Sokhal Bridal. The embellished shoes by Bella Belle Shoes at Rachel Ash Bridal were the additional classic touch.
The Tux was provided by Scotney’s of London Road. This incredible 3-piece tux in a dark blue was chosen to complement the décor from The Ashdown carriage where we placed the table arrangements.
