Inspiration
The quote above inspired this shoot that took place in the beautiful nature setting of the île de Ré. Audrey & Julien hit the road with their yellow van this morning like they always do. Only today, they get to marry.
île de Ré
Welcome to the island of Ré. We are in the heart of the forest where the spray from the sea reaches us. This is the place you chose to say yes to one another: a coat of leaves, branches, and bark that will keep your secret in his eternal wisdom. Because here we find our child’s soul. To build huts that we only know exist, sheltered from the sky. Because this secret island is yours, your allegory, you contemplate it as you contemplate your own love, with passion and admiration. Come back here, if you look well enough, you will find this day, written in the landscape, alongside all the others and many futures.
Magical Ceremony
This is the opening of a magical ceremony that took place in the forest, delighted by Audrey’s music, enchanted by Ebentalis decoration and Les filles à marier flowers, and an exchange of vows with a fire ritual included.
Creative Shoot
Afterwards, we took some couple pictures near the sea and also did an amazing couple session the day after in the streets of the very typical village, Les Portes en Ré.
Cocktail Hour
There was an original cocktail service before dinner that was served in the forest. The candlelight dinner was served by Matahari – a vegan catering service that was absolutely pleasing to the palate.
Alfresco Dinner
Alicia from Ebentalis Wedding Planning chose natural wood for the main table setting outside and decorated it in terracotta shades with candles, hanging garlands and flowers.
Dream Project
This wedding editorial is an adventure surrounded by nature where we experienced three days of daydream craziness, proving that any project is possible if it’s done with love. Ile de Ré has that magic: Sunsets, woods, marshlands, light and ocean.
The Milky Way
We finished the day with a bridal session under the Milky Way, shot by Clément, in the salt marsh.
